Personal Guild Banks
I did a little digging and it seems from it happening to others that this is the way it’s set up.
One suggestion I saw was to make someone who is still on that server a guild member and have them take the items out and send them to you. Obvious problems with trust here of course but the alternatives seem to be to leave the items there or to transfer twice.
I think everyone experiences that. Seems to come up every so often on the forums. Suggestions I’ve seen before is to have someone you trust join your guild and send the items over, or…indeed…transfer twice. Sorry there isn’t a better choice.
Lol, AP…great minds think alike. =P
What is the issue with guesting?
NA / EU servers or does guesting just not allow you access the personal guild bank?
Fate is just the weight of circumstances
That’s the way that lady luck dances
Not if the guild bank is on another server than your home.
When guesting you access the benefits of your guild from your home server. Example is if you have a multi-server guild located in DR and JQ and you are from JQ and guest to DR your JQ stuff follows you to DR.

Guesting does not give you access to the guild bank on the world on which you’re guesting. If you access a guild bank, it’s the one that is on your home world. If you left items behind, no worries, but yes, you do need to actively transfer to regain those items, and cannot get them simply through guesting.
Hope that helps!

So, to clarify: If one guests to another server, items from a personal guild bank on the original server can be retrieved. If one transfers to another server, items from a personal guild bank on the original server cannot be retrieved. Is that correct?
Main? What “main”? I play all of them sooner or later.
Correct Chaialyna. I have one of these and it works as described.
Thankfully I started building mine after settling on the current server. But I had begun to fiddle with upgrades on the previous server (mostly as an experiment), and those got reset too with the transfer.
I like to view MMOs through the lazy eye of a Systems Admin, and the critical eye of a
Project Manager. You’ve been warned. ;-)
Sungak, thank you very much for that confirmation. I guess I’ll have to consider whether I really want to transfer that badly then.
