Hello Everyone,

I’ve looked in the forum to see if anyone else is having this issue or not and couldn’t find anything. My friend just did the lvl 10 and 20 personal story quests for the Sylvari and the Norn. She was rewarded the achievement points for the following achievements but did not get the Mastery Points:

Waking from the Nightmare
A Season of Growth
Rising to the Challenge
Things Best Left Behind

She has completed the story through Victory or Death on a human but the Wiki and the Hero Panel both state she is supposed to be given a Mastery Point per race for the 10/20/30 personal story quests and per order for the 40 personal story. And this is not happening, Is this a technical bug or has the rewarding of the MP been taken away from these achievements?

Here is what the Wiki states (at top of page):

Note that for the Hero achievements, a mastery point is only awarded the first time a player completes the personal story arc for that level. (Emphasis mine.)

In other words, an account can only acquire 8 Mastery Points through the (Core) Personal Story. One for each Level Arc, regardless of race. This has not been changed since inception, though the Hero Panel (and the Wiki) is confusing, as it lists all possible ways to acquire the 1 Mastery Point per Level Arc.
