I also just upgrade to win10 if that has anything to do with it

Could play for a bit today, now mega lag spike and dc and every second try I can actually make it past the login screen. When I then want to go to EB i’m stuck in loading screen. Restarting the game and not even getting past the loading screen of LA or even to character select.

Some feedback to that would be epic.

Since yesterday WvW reset I can barely play…it started I couldnt activate any skill anymore in WvW, though I could chat, others could read my chat and I could read their answers though the game was frozen in lag.

Then those instant-dc in loading screens started around 21pm UTC+1, tried it 10 times then actually moved on to a game that works.

My Conncetion was fine, streamed from US website, streamed from EU website, played a fps online match…fine

Today logged in at 13pm UTC+1, could play for half an hour until now….dced and instant dc in every loading screen attempt to get back in game…and guess what, connection to the rest of the internet is again without any problem.

Same problem for me, sometimes I can log in, sometimes I cannot. Lost connection couple times on loading maps (Lions Arch) or when joining Fractals party (on loading screen), never had connection problems like this before…

Another thing that may be relevant to the issue. After getting to character selection (if you can) any characters you attempted to login to, and failed shows 0% map completion. Hope this helps anyone trying to fix the issue.

Create a launcher shortcut, right click on it > property > in the target field add /clientport 80 at the end.

Worked for me so far, at least you can give it a try, good luck.

So far this has been working for me just did a full run of fracs on lvl 9 going to do a run on lvl 19 to see if it still works will keep other people updated on my progress. Also if you’re trying this method make sure the port is open to your network.

update: never mind just got lucky on my run instant crash as i left fracs to start a new party lol

I can’t login into game for last half hour now. What happen? Anyone have similar problems, or its just me?

I am stucked withen loading screens. Everytime i change map It get stack and loading infinitely. Then after closing the client and trying to relog. Sometime I can log in then again stucked at loading screen or not be able to log in. :/

Not just login issues.. trying to change maps is now taking a lifetime and longer.

I would hazard a guess its more behind the scenes tweaking without checking what the knock on effects are.

Server performance has nose dived lately.. skill lags are back, game lags on most maps, load times getting longer and longer, frequent serious error crashes at certain world bosses, logging in issues, mass DC’s and now game hands during load screens.. beginning to feel like this is being run on a shoestring maintenance budget, except someone forgot to hire the maintenance team

No ANET.. please do more than just look at them… actually fix them then stand back and look at them all you like

Had trouble logging in, didn’t say my account existed. Then when I finally got in, my map completetion was 0. And then it froze everytime I tried to go into a map. But now it works for me. But instead my brother is having this problem. Fix the kitten servers please.

This has been going on since yesterday unstable connection to the game, can’t log in, laggs. My internet can connect to anything else fine. Becoming frustrating.

It looks to me there is a problem somewhere within the EU with the Internet. It would be helpful if you gave your location and ISP this will help to see if it’s a localized issue with the Internet. If your are having issues logging in, I think the login servers for both EU and NA are located in NA so this could have somthing to do with it. I’m 99.9% sure that this is an internet issue and not the game

Seriously? All people want at this point is a SIMPLE STATEMENT of “we’re working on it”.
I feel absolutely left in the dark, I don’t even know if they are working on it or delaying it until after the weekend.

99.9% of theses issues are Internet related the game runs fine if there is an issue with the game than EVERYONE would have the same issues and that’s just not the case here good luck.

Maybe it’s a Telia problem, again. It’s been known to act up on occasion.

Obvious response is … just obvious.

Some of us actually check the obvious before we post, but thanks for your genius.

If it was the severs then it would effect everyone, I just logged in no issues ping was at around 70 that’s a little high for me I’m more at 40ish but no problem logging loading or zoning.

Just because you don’t have an issue doesn’t mean there isn’t one. There’s alot of GW2 servers. You can check them out here: http://gw2status.de/

As you can see there are more then 32 servers currently offline and the current online servers do have hickups.

Does it affect everyone? No. Does it affect alot of people? Yes. Is the problem at the gw2 server? Most likely.

I have a lot of server issues right now, this whole afternoon in fact.

I would like to add reddit have tones of people with the same problem also Bugs: Game, Forum, Website also has about 7 threads open about the same problems and on Account & Technical suppot have about 4. It’s mainly in EU servers with the very rare NA server having problems.

Someone is Merging threads so they must see now something is wrong.. Fingers crossed for a fix asap.

Considering people have said that they were able to connect after using a VPN, one of the networks in EU has likely gone down.

Half WvW zergs disappear unable to log in again for hours….dungeon parties collapse as 2-3 members from different servers and countries dc at the same time….come back online just to get offline again seconds after they where listed online….everything in the WWW works EXCEPT GW2 for me and many others in international EU Friends/Guildlists since yesterday, but hell no, it’s not an issue related to GW2 servers trololo xD

They do matter, quiet alot actually. Adding -assetsrv 194.25.94.187:80 to the gw2 shortcut wouldn’t work if they aint important.

I can login after adding the following (-assetsrv 194.25.94.187:80) command to the target.

Same problem since two days, and it’s worse and worse each hour.

I had this problem yesterday it was there for few hours. Since 1 hour ago it started again today. Problems: Switching maps is dc, can’t login after.

I’ve heard people in chat saying they lag they are from Russia Ukraine …. now I lag in Portugal
I don’t think its my provider lot of people suddenly started to lag like hell from all over ..

After about 10 tries last night i finally got in to GW2 and wvw. I had 2 dc during evening but overall i could play, so though problem was solved. Today when i log in it is the exact same thing. I can not log in and if i manage to get to load screen i get message saying i lost connection to server please try again later.

Please fix this issue because it is not ok that i have to log in 300 times before i can actually stayed logged in and play.

This started yesterday and i can’t be kitten d dealing with it again. There was this same issue a few months ago, but you got that fixed somehow, now it is unfixed again and it is getting on my nervs.

Cannot log in anymore (from Germany). If I manage to login there are infinite loading screens or it disconnects me again after character selection.

Having the same issue, trying to get ingame for a few hours now without any luck. If i get to char select it says 0 map completion with all my chars. I’m getting a never ending loading screen that perhaps says internet connection error then kicks me out and next time I’m stuck at launcher. getting Code= 7:11:3:191:101 and 42:0:9001:4418

Happening to me also atm. It started a few hours after i registered for the sms verification (maybe it has nothing to do with it, just metioning it for information).

Ooh well I guess I will have to spend the evening in the pub instead.. shame there was going to be a few more HoT purchases from the guild tonight, but meeeh can’t be kitted to play the log in lottery again. At least the pub is guaranteed to service at least one of my addictions hassle free.
