Hi all, there are a lot of threads for players with d/c issues. However, please post here if you have ONLY been getting problems in the last few days. I have run this game for months with virtually no issues.

2 days ago things started going wrong. Every 30min to 1hour the game would lag for a second then boot me (with the classic error 7). I have checked my internet multiple times. The connection is fine.

I can’t run fractals at all, and it’s pain to run any other dungeon.

The issues began on Friday January 18, 2013.

my husband & I have been getting disconnected a lot recently too. Like right now when I log in I get disconnected about a minute later. I usually do not have problems like this. If I get disconnected in the past I log back in and every thing is fine. Now is is pretty much non-stop

I get dc issues so often that I think anet does it on purpose

It just started hitting me today, whatever “it” is. I cant play more than 10 minutes without getting kicked and getting error 7.
I took a look at the typical problems: internet connection, and firewalls. And, there seems to be nothing wrong but things happen. I hope what ever this is gets fixed soon.

Yeah, same here since Thursday. Unplayable delay on skills. It is very random too, any place, any activity. I can solo jump puzzle and still get this horrible delay/lag.

Mine ONLY happens inside dungeons, i am lag free outside them

I am getting the same problem disconnecting with error code 7:11:3:189:101 almost every 15-30 min making the game unplayable as every time I return I am dead. It started for me about 1 week ago.

Beginning this past Saturday afternoon, January 19, 2013, when I log in, the game becomes very laggy. Within minutes of this happening my monitor goes into ‘power save’ mode and shuts down. I have 4 toons in different cities and zones, none are not affected. The first time it happened, I was on my level 80 toon, in Cursed Shores, trying to finish my storyline, trying to gain access to the Arah Dungeon area. The quest battle was in full force and black screen, entering power save mode. No sound, nothing. I powered down, and back up, logged into my level 26 who was in the City of Claypool and whispered to my friend what had happened. Before I got a response it happened again. Rinsed and repeated and got a response from him, then black screen.

I have 3 monitors. Only the main monitor shuts down, the other two remain on but my mouse is stuck on the main monitor, neither Alt-Tab nor Control-Alt-Delete work. I have to power down and turn it back on to regain control. Through the video driver control panel I have turned off the other monitors and tried to log in, same result. I have updated all drivers, no change.

I have a Dell XPS 720, 2.4GHz, 8GB RAM, 64-bit Operating System, Windows 7 Home Premium, SP1, U-Verse internet connection which I have had for a year and never had an issue until day before yesterday.

This morning, early, I logged in and was fine until my second event. Then I noticed it was taking 2 or 3 seconds to target after clicking. Everything got extremely laggy, again, black screen, power save mode. I started the game again, selected my toon, clicked play, immediately black screen, power save mode.

I am on Crystal Desert and have also been experiencing periodic disconnects during game play. I am also experiencing extreme lag in non-event instances during solo gaming. I am experiencing this in Orr most frequently. I have not experienced anything similar since launch and have never had any issues with my connection prior to the last few days. I have also noted some members of my guild having the exact same problem. Please fix. Thank you.

Last week or so, same thing, moastly happening when i try to que up for wvw. Game runs close to perfect durning non prime time hours. My guess is that it got something to do with the pre Visitor (or WTH they are calling it) data.

I am kittening sick of this have died 4 times cause this issue why did I pay 60 bucks for bunk kitten that you cant play . i really hope the dev are reading this cause this is kitten even AFTER I did everthing you said I STILL GET DISCONNECTED!!!PS kittenYOU

Yep I been having the same problem too, since last week Wednesday. It was worse before but now it seems to be a little better but still I lag instantly and dc after 1 minute during the day. Though even late at night with nobody around I lag still.

Im playing in Tarnish Coast in Australia. All was well till suddenly the game becomes unplayable…

I am having this problem for about 2 weeks now. Many people have been reporting it recently, especially after the Jan 10. Anet likes to say that the problems are on our end and not on their, constantly refusing to acknowledge that it isn’t true.

Got dced twice , both while doing fractals. Strangely, both at the same area in the dredge level. update: i have dced 5 times so far today.
