Playing GW2 on Xbox one?
Even if it were possible. Gw2 would completely saturate that low powered Jaguar processor.

Xenon processor has 165 million transistors, 3 cores, 6 threads.
Haswell i7 processor has 1.4 billion transistors, 4 cores, 8 threads.
This is not including Haswell-E or Skylake, or any of the other great running CPU architectures, or their revisions.
But you can see which core can run Guild Wars2, and which doesn’t stand a chance.

GW2 requires high single core performance which an Xbox one severely lacks, so even if you could get it installed and booted the game would run incredibly poorly

Not a clue if it’s possible but yeah, the Xbox One is a really underpowered console.
In all honesty you could build a PC for the same price with considerably better specifications and just plug an Xbox controller into it.

It wont happen. Anet’s decidely stamped out any hope for console exports because you would ONLY be able to play with others on the SAME console (no cross-server support) and if there’s gamebreaking bugs introduced, you’ll suffer long delays in fixes (update vetting processes from console parent companies) followed by, or at the same time, rollbacks.
I love my consoles, but I hate the console community a lot.
Some PC games will not run well on a console. Some console games will run poorly on a PC. We really need to keep them separate. (As much as Overwatch is on Console and PC, they are still separate servers).

UBI isn’t the only one and far from the worst—-Warner Brothers and Batman-so bad steam gave refunds and it was pulled. Current fix??? it is still bad.
And No, I doubt you are ever going to see a console version.
