There is something up with Level3 datacenter tonight, I am experiencing packet drop leads to high latency.

Where are you two from (generally and going to, NA or EU) because from my location in New England it shows everything quiet stable with Level 3 as I go through Chicago and Dallas, in the 70-80ms ping range.

NA East, my connection to GW2 always pass-by Level3 datacenter, and they suck.

Level3 has been an absolute nightmare tonight, 200ms+ and 5-10% packet loss.

I am also NA East, specifically North Carolina just outside of Charlotte. For what feels like months it has been steadily getting worse.

I don’t think that Anet can fix on the spot. They might send ticket to Level3 to checkout what is going on. Pretty much speaking of Level3… might just contact them here:

Now I’m going through telia.net in Chicago and then down to Dallas. I’m getting 165ms ping rates while in Metrica. As I said before I’m in New England.
