Basically, it boots and runs windows with no 3rd party software.

Seems like you finally found out Mcafee was the problem and blocking your connection.

So, any new tips on how to get past this? Nothing suggested in this and other threads helped. The connection works for a split second, downloads EXACTLY 161 KB, then speed drops to 0.

to me is different.
my client downloads around 1,4gb PER TIME, then falls to 0kb-s, then i have to manually re-launch it and download other 1gb…it’s a cycle.
it keeps files previously downloaded, so stats from where stopped just before.

tried diag and no issues. router is ok as there s no disconnection.
no firewall. requirements ok.
WTF is it????
