Twice now Dragonbrand my wife (who had to start on a different server since Dragonbrand was full when she opened the account) deleted her characters to transfer to my homeworld, but when she completed the deletions and tried to select Dragonbrand it showed Full on her screen even though mine was simultaneously showing Very High. We are connected through the same router so there should have been no difference. I even logged out and back in to verify that Dragonbrand was open. How is this possible? And if a game master or developer or whoever is reading this, please transfer Clariti.8732 from Northern Shiverpeaks to Dragonbrand. Please please please?

They won’t transfer, especially based on a post. If they assist one person in trying to transfer, then they would have to help everyone, which would create a massive backlog list to get someone moved to full servers. With the exception of WvW, you and your wife can still play together in all aspects of the game on different servers.

If your computer is showing that the server is open, let her type in her login into your computer and give it a try.

What I’m having trouble understanding is how different server configurations are being sent to essentially the same unit (my router), the only difference being the two actual computers connected to the router (both by Ethernet so wireless is not a factor). Both computer logged out and back in with no changes noted.

I don’t know but I’ve seen one other thread a day or two back where a guy was trying to transfer and he said he was seeing one server configuration and his friend was seeing another.

The accuracy of the visible reports has always been questionable. Bottom line, until someone from Dragonbrand TRANSFER to another server, she can never transfer in. (or unless Anet expands the max server allowances).

It also could very well be that it’s a full server, but when you are looking you’ll see very high since you are located on that server. That’s something to consider that accounts already located on the server in question could see something different then 2 accounts trying to look at the server and aren’t located on it.

Server status changes by the hour so try during a different time. BG is always full during NA prime but people sneak in during early sea.

The WvW guilds on DB will know when the best time to transfer in will be, based on coverage, so hop on ebg/home bl and ask around.
