i need help me and my cousin bought the game 3 days ago and by mistake he choose the wrong world and now we cant play together…..im not even lvl 6 and to be able to change world i have to pay $35 like wow, thats like buying the game again like really need to pay for a all new game to be able y with him??

First, what world did you choose vs what world did he choose?

If both are NA worlds or both are EU worlds, then you can play together in the PvE environment due to the megaservers, you just have to go to the same map and hope you land on the same shard, which shouldn’t be too hard theoretically given that there are just two of you.

If you want to play WvW or are not both on either a NA server or an EU server, you’ll have to transfer.

Cheapest way involves deleting all your characters. There is a 7 day waiting period for transfers so if you chose your world 3 days ago, in about 4 days you should be good to go. Just keep in mind there is a 2 week lock out from WvW due to the current tournament to reduce people switching to the winning server that week. That 2 weeks does not include the week you transfer, if I’m remembering correctly. Weeks for ANet with regards to WvW roll over on Fridays.

You can transfer free of charge by deleting all your characters. You can guest to his world, to play together, or he can guest to yours. MegaServer can allow you to play together without guesting, even. Except for WvW play, and then, you must be on the same server.

Since you are both new, it may not be much of a problem for one of you to delete your characters and transfer at no cost. Do be aware, there is a 7-day cool-down between server transfers, and a two-Friday cool-down after transfer to be able to participate in the WvW battlegrounds.
