@Gail it was nice of you to give players a thread for reporting Bot hot spots. Can we please get one for Gold Spammers?

It is against the forum rules (for obvious reasons) to call out names. So in the bot hot spot it isvery important you don’t give characternames oraccount names of the people doing it. Harashment is simply not allowed.

So I don’t see what kind of system this forum can supply. Besides that, support is very good in handling the reports. After reporting I also block them. I have a long block list and nobody is ever online. I assume that it is cause they all got permabanned.

I rather see that the devs would improve the filters to prevent these PM’s. I don’t see any role for us more then reporting them ingame.

Support doesn’t need to know where Gold Sellers are. What difference would it make? What they need as proof of gold-selling is the text from messages. And they get that from the in-game reports, which tells the time and area of the report, and so would the message reported, I would think.

With bot areas, they can zero in and check the activity in the area, and find characters whose actions are suspect. Usually bots gather in an area that affords them decent returns, so you will find several there. As some bots are difficult to individually report, a thread was created so areas with possible bots could be investigated.

This is why we have a thread for locations of bots, and no thread for locations of Gold Sellers. It’s easy to report a Gold Seller, but not so easy, always, to report a bot. At least, that is what makes sense to me.
