Guild Wars 2

Alright here’s my problem:
When I click the game loader and fill in my login details, I get the second screen which allows me to click ‘Play’. However, when I click play, the game shuts down completely without anything happening. I’ve checked task manager and the ‘Guild Wars 2’ isn’t listed in the process tab. I have played gw2 for quite some time on my laptop. I mainly do the dailies, since my internet connection isn’t stable enough to play when I’m not at home. However, that doesn’t seem the problem, since I can play livestreams flawlessly and download the client without any problems with a stable 1MB/s.
Things I’ve tried:
Restart laptop
Delete client and download again
Different internet connections (all stable)

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Are you running the client as an administrator.

Do you have any malware/anti virus/firewall software running that needs to make GW2.exe an exception?

Try if deleting your local.dat file helps.
