Q:

Hi,

I decided to take advantage of the 75% off sale and bought a second account. I used a different email address from the original account when buying and registering the game and at the end of the registration a got a thank you for registering message on the GW2 website but so far have not received an email confirming my registration. Currently i cannot login to the game client or the GW2 website with my new account. I have submitted a ticket to support and am awaiting help from them but wanted to ask if anyone else was having similar problems possibly due to large numbers of people purchasing the game at sale price?

There have been other posts about this particular issue. Sometimes, the confirmation email is a bit delayed. You have already contacted the CS Team, so either you will get a response from them first, or the email will arrive shortly.

Thanks for the reply. It’s been about 7 hours now and haven’t received a confirmation yet but am starting to think i may have put me email address in wrong when i registered the game. I will wait to hear from the CS Team.
