Guild Wars 2

Ok, so the last couple of weeks I haven’t been able to use the chat (except from the “say” chat). Since I enjoy playing dungeons it’s very hard to find a group and to play with for that matter as well when I can’t communicate with them. And not being able to chat with people in the game makes the game pretty bad and ruins the mmo feeling completely.

I don’t know why I can’t use the chat. I have not said anything bad in the chat or written anything that is against Arenanets terms of agreement. So as you can probably understand, I find this very frustrating. So what do you guys think is the problem? am I supressed or is this just a bug, or what is it? What should I do?

Try this

Press enter, type /map
Hit the space key
And now it should be typing in map channel.

And I forgot to say.. I can’t see what other people is typing in the chat either.

are you mabey the wrong tab ? if you click the little link in i think the bottom left it will enable your chat box options as far as tabs go, just make sure your on the very first tab

I can’t believe I didn’t check that. When you asked that question I first got irritated and though like “of course I have” but I hadn’t :P
