Guild Wars 2

Game has been working fine for months then after a small patch this morning I can’t access WvW.

I get the loading screen and I can hear the background sounds/music change from the area I’m in to the borderland but the loading screen doesn’t go away and eventually, after a few minutes, I get dropped back to the character select with the message “The game client lost its connection to the server …etc. (Code=7:11:3:191:101)”.

Tried restarting the game and pc and running the GW2 fix but no joy.

Additional – the WvW bit looks like it was a red herring as I just got the same problem logging onto my character in PVE land.

Looks like it some kind of random issue.

Have you tried guesting on another server and logging in?
