Proof of offense?

Hey I was recently suspended for 7 days and I was given no proof or anything as to why. I asked support for chat log proof but I still have received nothing, the last time this happened it took your support 3 weeks to respond and all he said was “yes we indeed confirmed that your account was suspended” when I specifically asked for proof of why I was suspended. Please give me a competent response this time, and if you cannot provide complete proof for my suspension then lift it. I spent far too much money on your game for you to be treating me like this, I really am tired of the “oh we have their money now so we don’t care what we do to them.” mentality from Arenanet. With any real pay to play game I can expect respect from the employees of the gaming company because they actually have to work for my money. Arenanet goes around banning ANY account that gets reported for the smallest reasons just because they don’t get a monthly payment from them. Well I can almost guarantee you if this suspension isn’t lifted I won’t be spending another dime on this game. I’ve read about Arenanet literally banning THOUSANDS of accounts for no reason and REFUSING to provide proof now this is completely out of control and completely unprofessional. I honestly don’t expect a professional response from Arenanet to this, if they gave me an actual mature professional response I would be quite surprised because that’s unlike Arenanet.

All I want is 1 of 2 things, Either show me complete 100% proof (and it better be good enough for banning me for 7 days after I spent alot of good money on your game) or lift the suspension because you have no proof and/or refuse to show it.

First, you were suspended not just this week, but in November, December, and twice in March.

You demand details. Here you go:

  • You chose a name disallowed by the Naming Policy.
  • You used offensive language. Multiple times.
  • You posted a link to an pornography website.
  • You propositioned players asking for things not discussed in polite conversation.

You were reported multiple times, and were suspended — not for “no reason” or for one of “the smallest reasons” — but because you deserved it.

There’s your mature, professional, and competent response. Now, consider the suspensions and the reasons for them (which I believe you well knew before demanding details). Reconsider your in-game (and on-forum) behavior. And conduct yourself more prudently in the future.
