I have a question about a program I am running. I replaced my video card a few weeks back and the new one came with a price of software to monitor it. (previously had something similar but not with as many features) One piece of this software (named in the title of the thread) is it allows you to get the frame rate of programs you are running. I was thinking of setting this up to monitor Guild Wars 2 so I could see how things are running on different settings and different areas of the game.

Once I started setting up the program, I noticed a few things that caught my eye that I wanted to ask here before starting to use this program.

1. Does anyone use a program like this that hooks to game code to be used?
2. If someone does use it have you had any problems?
3. Would this type of program be looked at like a bot program or is there something that tells ANET this is a graphic program.
4. Should I submit a support ticket to ask directly and put in the information from the program on how it works and see if it is ok to use?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I just realized I submitted this to the Account Support forum. If this needs to be in the Tech Support forum could someone please move it for me instead of me creating a new post. Thanks

Many people use programs to monitor their fps. Fraps allows one to see fps. I use Game Booster.
You can use the command line edits for GW2 ( -diag ), if you would feel more comfortable. No other programs involved.
