Guild Wars 2

I’m considering making a server transfer, but I’d like to know if the guild I created on my current server will move with me to the new server. I would most likely join another guild and use my current guild as a storage guild as I’m really the only person left in the guild I created.

If the guild I created doesn’t move with me, I’ll likely not transfer so if someone could give me an official response on this, I’d appreciate it.

You are welcome. I’m not sure on the ticket issue as I didn’t try. I just shared my experience as it was something I wasn’t expecting and found out later on. Fortunately I didn’t have a lot of influence or upgrades at the time. Still don’t because it’s just me.

Here is what the wiki says:

Guilds are not tied to any specific world; all players can join any guild regardless of which world they play on. However, influence and guild upgrades are specific to each world: players in the same guild but on different worlds will contribute to separate influence pools and build through separate upgrade trees. Members that transfer will have to regenerate influence and build new upgrades on the new world.

So I am guessing a support ticket may not solve your problem.

I transfered about a month ago with only my guild being myself. The guild name of course stayed but all the upgrades and influence remained on my old server.
