Hi.

I was bannd for 71 hours because of racial slurs.

This is totally wrong and it was me who repoted 2 people for racial slurs in chat.
I told them that I did that and I think that was my problem so they reported me.

I have send a ticket about this and my guess is that I have to wait.

The strange thing is that my bann can not be done by the system because the system can not find any bad words from me so it must been a manual ban.
Do you know anything about how this work?

I just wanna to play but if I will be bannd for 71 hours and it was a wrongful bann do you get any compensation from ArenaNet? Mayby a legendary.

I do not think any one working at ArenaNet will read this it is Christmas and Saturday after all but here is my ticket number I think 121222-001214

Actually ArenaNet has said they will be working over the holidays.

I was also wrongfully banned (as far as I know) because Arenanet will not give me evidence as to what I did wrong. And the past few days I’ve been playing I haven’t really been speaking to anyone.. I’ve been just quietly completing maps. So unless the offense was from several months ago then I think they banned me for no reason ESPECIALLY since they will not provide evidence to me.

Just have to appeal to Anet and leave it into their hands. Not a lot you can do to prove your innocence; because who video records their entire game play, and is able to send possibly hundreds of hours to customer support? I hope they actually look into your cases.

I have not heard anything from them so I would sure have to wait all the bann time.

I would be very disapointed if I do not get a sorry for our wrongdoing from Arenanet and explaind what went wrong.

We see what will happen but I will never report anything in the future.

Goes to show how little ANet cares about the people who BUY this game. BTW why would these devs make it so you can turn off the profanity filter? If these people who are reporting others do not like profanity then they shouldn’t turn it off.

I think Arenanet cares alot but the systems they are using for banning people are clearly bad.

It would be stupid of Arenanet not to care because they want us to buy gems and future expansions.

I will play this game long after my bann but I hope that Arenanet will say sorry and take away my bann from their systems. If they do that and they make a new misstake the mayby the bann me for life?

I have not got any answer from Arenanet why I was banned in the first place. Well now some farming with all the boots and I will never report them any more

You will still want to appeal it because that kind of stuff goes into your record. Need to vindicate your name.

And if you are right, the ones who accused you wrong need to get a punishment too. Anet said that wrong accusations will get those people in trouble too. Don’t let them go of the hook.
