Random Crash
apart from your display drivers being a few months old, there’s also the mention of depth buffer being disabled (which may be related to the drivers)
from what i can tell my graphics are up to date, as well as system drivers
This is what bothers me.

Exception: c0000005
Memory at address 0000000a could not be written
App: Gw2.exe
Make sure your directX 9 is up to date here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
Scan your hard drives for errors but i’m banking on a ram problem. I’ve never had the game crash.
to do proper hdd scan for errors
start>run>cmd in the cmd window type “chkdsk /f” without the " marks, enter, y , enter.
restart.
run ccleaner
test game.
if you have multi drives, you need to check each of them, but only the boot drive must be done via a restart
PCP&C 1200watt TC, Crosshair V F-Z, Sapphire 290x
would be nice if the gw2 crash log included the module in the crash, since more often then not its some rogue dll or a bad hook from dxtory, or kaspersky security.
I’ve got a Crucial M4 SSD, I would rather not risk screwing it up while performing a test. I didn’t have any other client crashes prior to the last patch. Most of the time its in a dungeon, or in a dragon event where there are a lot of animations. From what i can tell it’s totally random because most of the time my game is fine. 3 crashes in 50 days are pretty good imo.
is that crucial on the latest ssd firmware
yes, yes it is. i’ll wait to see whats with the update next week. since i started this thread my client has crashed 3 more times, idk whats up. hopefully they have a fix in the next patch
