Guild Wars 2

This is getting very frustrating. Happens about 5 times or so within every 2 hours or so. I’m mostly in wvw or fractals when this happens, but it happens everywhere, whether its a dead zone or Lions Arch.

To be clear on the problem, I’m logged in and playing just fine but it get a pop up in game saying it cannot connect to the login server and the game screen goes black. I just alt f4 out. I double click on the gw2 icon and the news fade displays that it cannot connect to the server for about 2-3 seconds then displays everything as normal and I am able to login again.

I missed a few tower caps and boss chests because of this. Whats most frustrating is when I’m fighting someone, this happens, and I login dead.

Also, I’m not experiencing the skill lag that others are mentioning in other posts below.

So, this was happening to me (although I was also experiencing massive lag) and I was getting frustrated so I restarted my gateway + router and it seems to be back to normal. Not promising it will work, but I’m happy that it’s stopped for now.

my whole guild just disconnected all at the same time. This is not our internet problem.

im disconnecting every 30 minutes or so….

I have the same issue. It is always in an instance or in WvW (but I dont play that anymore, I can take a hint). I believe it may be related to the use of salvage kits in an instance. Anet doesn’t want you clearing your bags.
