Guild Wars 2

Hello, at least once per log on while playing my whole game will lock up completely. Right before this occurs strange things happen.

• I wont see skill/item descriptions
• Audio completely cuts out
• The world map (M) will completely go black, aside from mist scrolling across and WP’s

Shortly after these symptoms my game will completely freeze for a good minute. I can alt tab, and do other stuff and come back in and everything is working fine. This will usually occur once per log on, and has been going on for a good month.

Please note that I do have the latest nvidia drivers, I had this problem on older drivers as well

Bump for same issues. Been having this happen since I started playing again late January. Almost certain it is related to in game lag spikes, but I’ve never seen anyone else report these symptoms until now. Wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and maybe has a solution. Running Win 7 64bit / i5 2500k / GeForce 660 / 8 gigs of RAM (Ripjaws).

Just suggesting anything here, but have you looked at your CPU/GPU temperatures when this happens? Something might be overheating and temporarily shutting some stuff down to let the parts cool before resuming normal activity.
