I have been having a problem for a couple weeks now. We have 4 family members who play GW2 and each of us have our own computer. The house is divided into 2 separate internet providers and we have 2 systems on each one.

The problem is that the same 2 of the 4 computers keep getting disconnected every 5 to 10 minutes and get a pop-up window that says they have lost connection to the server. This is regardless of which ISP they are connected to and whether or not they are connected wirelessly or ethernet cable. I tried repairing the game on both of them and now have gone through the process of completely reinstalling but the problem still exists. It doesn’t make any sense to me why i would get disconnected on one computer while still staying connected on a second computer hooked up into the exact same router. Any ideas would be helpful at this point

I also have a problem in Mac. I get 3 dc’s or more per hour. I do not know the source of the problem. Up until now i was sure that it is my ISP’s fault.

OP your ISP’s likely use the same nose farther down your connection. Your connection is like the highway taking different routes, then merging later, then maybe breaking off to different routes again before getting to servers in Texas. Likely it is Telianet in Texas giving you the issue. You can run ping plotter to see how your connection runs. You want to look where packet loss STARTS to determine which node has the issue. Packet loss will trickle down into Anet servers after it starts, but that does not mean it’s anet servers.

I am having the same issues since a couple of weeks (since last patch pretty much). I’m in Sweden so I’m not likely to have Telianet in Texas. I’m also on a Mac by the way.
