I keep getting random disconnects with error 7:11 something. What gives Anet? I’ve quit doing story because of it, since I get put back at beginning of instance.

I often get disconnect as well. This server is totally rubbish, im so mad. Waste my money for this game.

When those happen you need to run ping plotter to the Anet ip address you are on to see where the issue is. The fact that it’s not everyone means it’s a really good chance there is a problem somewhere between you and Anet. Running ping plotter will show where the problem is so you know whom to contact.

I was right at the end of a dragons stand, about 2 mins away from killing mouth (had a very good burn at the beginning so we were no where near failing) and then bam, everyone gets hit with 2k+ ping and we’re falling through the floor. Suddenly all ley line is consumed from the islands and boss fails. Frustrated is not the right word

Yeah its only the same error. Usually happens at least once while being logged in. Either when zoning or busy map usually. Its happened in the middle of the story more than once “__”

You need to run ping plotter, take a screen shot showing its Anet through that app, and write down the server IP (/ipaddress in game). Then submit a support ticket. Otherwise you aren’t going to get any type of response.

Alternately you could just submit a support ticket and they will walk you through this process. But please try to understand that Anet can’t do anything unless you can show them it’s their servers and not your ISP or a node on the way Anets servers.
