I’ve been having random crashes and freezes in dungeons since I’ve been playing the game. It doesn’t really happen in the normal world so far I can recall. But as soon as I get into a personal quest or dungeon which I guess are instances, I can ready myself for an upcomming crash.
Does anyone have any idea what might be my problem?

You need to provide significantly more detail. For example:

DxDiag
Do you get a log or other error report from GW2?
Are you submitting those crash reports to ArenaNet?
Does anything specific occur just before the crash?
Is it every instance, or just some?
How long before the crash once you’re in the instance?
Does it happen if you change your settings, e.g. drop everything to low?
Etc.

ill tell ya kendal, i ran some diagnostics on my system lastnight and i was running really hot. make sure your fans are running and possibly clean them out, i had about 4 kittens stuck / melted to my heatsinks under my fans. My temps are back to normal, havent tried to play yet.

On a more serious note, I have ocassionally had these memory crashes. I seemed to have eliminated them, only to now have an infrequent CTD, albeit a different error now. This is what I did: I upped some voltages (mainly CPU, FSB, NB, RAM and GPU core) one (I repeat: ONE) notch above stock settings and that seems to have eliminated them…very strange since I am 100% stable in every other task including ALL other games, and stress testing applications such as IntelBurnTest, FurMark, OCCT, and MemTest…

This “solution” is not even an option without a configurable BIOS. It really shouldn’t even have to be done in the first place.

edit: running ATI Radeon 7870 GHz Edition. Memory CTDs occured at stock clocks and voltages.

On a different note, next time either attach your log or use the spoiler tag to post your logs/results, also put some time into reading the forums because these issues have been posted before and you may find a fix for it while searching the forums

Posted, yes – solved, no. Not really. Not beyond what I did, anyways. And believe me I have searched long and hard, not only this forum, but Guru, and all of Google. What info I could find was all questions, no solutions.

I do however agree about using the spoiler function to post logs, etc. though!
