While this may not seem like a bad issue, I would like this addressed for the sake of fairness. Before the policy was changed, I was given a refund for an extra character slot. I was not supposed to receive the one that was automatically given out today. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) now I have an extra character slot that I don’t rightfully deserve to have. Would it be possible to delete one of the two empty slots on my account?

No, you get one.
If you create a new account you get the five that comes with the core game.

So the op has 5 plus the free one and the beta slot I don’t see an issue here.

Ok sorry I didn’t see the left arrow.

I purchased the Ultimate pre-order, and got a free slot + beta slot from that. Then I ended up getting the bonus loyalty slot the other day. However, I got a refund in exchange for a slot, so I wasn’t supposed to be on the list for the loyalty one. I guess I have no choice but to file a ticket. Was trying to avoid that, since most tickets are for real issues like getting hacked or technical problems. I thought posting a thread here would help by not filling Customer Service’s ticket queue.

If you contact support, they’ll just say it’s yours to keep. It’s what they’ve done in past cases like these. Once they even forgot to ban an account after refunding it, and they let the guy keep it.

My vote is you get to keep it for being so honest and up front about it.

I did not miss that, you said you bought ultimate, you get TWO character slots, you can’t refund those chracter slots, they are part of the ultimate upgrade.
