Guild Wars 2

So I purchased GW2 through the GW2 website, but I apparently no longer have the email that has my serial number in it. At one point I lost my old email account because I changed cable providers, and so my email account was deleted, and then afterward I changed the email account of my Guild Wars accounts. The problem was that the serial number went to my old email account, which has been fragged, and so now I lack that email. I know I probably could have taken better care to keep it in check, but I didn’t, and so here I am.

Is there any way I can recover the serial number? My account HAS NOT been compromised, and the password is unique and very secure, and everything about my account is working fine. I just would really like to retrieve my serial number somehow in case something does happen so that I can properly handle the situation.

If you loose your serial number support will never give you a replacement. But if a situations arises where you need to proof ownership they have alternative ways. It basicly consist of a long and irritating list of questions. I have seen it once (it changes on regular basis) and it contains many things that seems to be bogus to me. It also contains many questions that are asking for the obvious: ‘are you realy realy realy sure you lsot your product key, are yo usure you looked everywhere?? did you even look under your matrass, in your cupboard and in the broomcloset?? no, then go check it and tell us how your broomcloset looks like from the inside’ Ok I maybe a lil bit over the top here, but you got my point, The list is irritating and as said it changes.
The bottom line is that they will give you back access if you are the rightfull owner (but not a replacement productkey).
