Recovering deleted items.
Anet does not correct mistakes by players.
It is difficult to check the truth and at least some guys would use it to scam.
Sorry, but no way.
Somehow Blizzard never had issues to check. And I’ll wait for some official response here (and well, double think about getting more crystals really).
I told you the official response. It was told on several threads already.
No restoration, if it was not necessary because of a hack. No substitution, if it was not a bug that caused it and even then it is often not given, because they lack the means to do so.
Waiting will not change it.
“Lack the means to do so”? Seriously, if this one is true, anet has a LOT to learn from big boys…
GW is a bib boy. But GW2 is still young. And they don’t think on the errors we make, but to put more and better content into the game. And those other boys ask a monthly fee.
I think I know what I prefer.
Well, actually I do think on the errors. Lack of technical possibility for recovering deleted items + problems with changing e-mail + lack of physical authenticator token (there’s even recently been a thread of someone loosing the mobile one after android update) all sums up to one huge security joke…
Mark my words – I’m only waiting for the huge security breach to happen.
(PS: so far I’ve spent on crystals about as much as big boys want monthly for their games. Not anymore if there’s no respect for my money when I need simple help in single mistake.)

There is a warning message given. We do not replace items that are deleted despite that warning. This isn’t a problem with ours systems; this is user error. Sometimes, you have to live with errors that you have made. I know this because I have accidentally deleted items, too, or I’ve sold them without intent. This happened because I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t heed the built-in warnings. But in the end, that was my fault and I accepted that I needed to own that.
