Since the ascended items are account bound, will the ascended items like amulet that i bought for my alternate characters be refunded? I bought 2 zerker amulet.

also, will the laurels be refunded for zerker equipments? since now you have introduced ferocity.

I have 4 sets of identical trinkets. I would very much like to stat change 3 of them.

I have quite a few trinkets, I’d like to know this too… or at least make them salvageable, simply selling for 4s is surely a kick in the *.

I think it’s best to use a real life analogy here.

You buy gas for $3.00 a gallon and the next day it’s $2.69, you only drove 5 miles since the last fill up. You walk up to the gas station and demand for compensation and refund for the change.

Just like the Gas station, ArenaNet is not responsible to refund for any changes as you signed an agreement just to play the game that gives them full rights to change anything.

Or you could just use them and not have to worry about moving them back and forth every time you switch characters.

has the update changed your alts´ abilities of equipping them? Probably not. I wonder what the next stage of refund demands will be. Maybe ask for a refund of all items you ever used because the higher tiers replaced them at some point?

I understand your point. But consider some trinkets won’t have any use for some classes… say there’s an overload of zerker trinkets in the bank and some spare items will be unusable, it’s clearly a waste and they’re not that easy to get.

This would be great since many of us have duplicates that will now never be used and were costly to buy, but likely there will be 0 compensation.

I wish I could at least salvage them for something.

you refund the wvw points because they were made account wide,

but you don’t refund the ascended accessory laurels even though they became account wide too.

why not? i think it is perfectly reasonable to refund the laurels

How is refunding points in a progression system that is completely revamped in any way associated with refunding the cost of actual items? You bought them and they are still good. In fact, they have BETTER functionality than before (you CAN swap them).
