I stopped playing Guild Wars 2 around Christmas 2012 and recently decided to come back and have a go, I found that my account had been banned. I contacted customer support who kindly allowed me access to my account.
Upon entering my account it was obvious to me that the thieving sods had really gone to town , my level 80 engineer and my level 80 ranger who where both in full orange gear had been deleted , my level 80 charr warrior had all its orange gear removed and some poor green stuff placed on it, my bank was empty of everything all my cooking ingredients the works.
I sent a new ticket and after a couple of days conversation making sure I was happy to have my account restored I logged in for the first time this morning….
My charr is still in its poor lvl 80 greens and my engineer and ranger are still missing … now please me what on earth is the point of rolling it back to a point when everything is still as it was when i first reported the theft of my account…. please if at all possible can you take a look at my account ticket number is [Incident: 130520-001460].

You can update your ticket and ask them if they have a restore point that is before the date your account was compromised. Perhaps, they misunderstood, or mistakenly chose that date. Best of luck. =)

I have received another email from daniel and he can roll me back to an even earlier time, fingers crossed its early enough to have my stuff back, either way least I can do is post on the forum to say thank you for the quick assistance.

I am glad that this will work out for you. I’d like to use this opportunity to make it clear that account restoration requests cannot be made on the forums, but must be made in a ticket directly to support.
