Run Gw2.exe directly as an administrator. If you’re using the -shareArchive command line option, note that you cannot modify your settings while it’s enabled.
Your Windows user account could be corrupted. You can try setting up a new temporary user account as a test.
Local.dat is under \Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2
By default, it’s under appdata/Guild Wars 2/. If that one becomes corrupted however, it changes to Documents/Guild Wars 2/, which takes priority (if it exists).
Tried the -repair argument. It got as far as saving the password, then the ‘invalid code’ reappeared. Going to go try a new user now
