Guild Wars 2

My computer froze up with 60% of the game downloaded. Now when i launch the downloader, “Repairing archive data” comes up and the download has restarted.

How can i fix this? I’m not redownloading the entire thing, so that’s not an option.

If you won’t download the entire game again, then you better find someone who plays Guild Wars 2 who lives close to you so they can copy the game to a flash drive and let you borrow the flash drive to copy the game to your computer.

Your computer had something unexpected happen to it, whether it was a crash/lock up or some power outage. The game’s data file has a high risk of being corrupted during an unexpected event and requires to be downloaded again. When the game is done being downloaded I highly recommend that you make a backup of the gw2.dat file so that if this happens again when you are updating the game, you can simply paste the backup gw2.dat file over the old corrupted one and start updating the game instead of downloading the entire game again.
