Is there any way to resume a stopped download of the game?

I have bought a digital copy of this game and have nothiced an annoying thing, the game downloader does not resume a stopped download, so basicly i have to leave my PC turned on and without any control of the bandwidth usage till this game finishes the download… which will take half a day unless ofc something random happens like a loss of connection for a second and I would be forced to try to download once again…

you can close the client and open again later to resume.

I just did that, had around 7 GB downloaded but it starts from 0.

Yeah, I just did the same thing Madderdin. Who makes a 25G+ game and doesn’t let you save your download progress? Not even a pause feature. Not a good start, arenanet.
