Not trolling genuinely interested – is there something GW2 needs that needs different configs of internet settings.

the last 10 MMO’s I’ve played installed, loaded, and played without issue. I’m on day 3 of CS support and the game won’t install…

What version of Windows do you use? I have an old portable hard drive configured with FAT32 file system (as opposed to NTFS) and can’t transfer the game because even though there’s thousands of files, the drive thinks its 1 huge .dat file. It cannot handle files that large. It’s a limitation of the FAT32 file system that was largely eradicated with some versions of WinXP and vista+ .

I use vista – the game won’t begin to download – I have a portable HD which I could try and install on though – its something I have not tried yet!
