Hey there mates,

As in the subject, I want to run the game in ultra settings with no under 60FPS and so planning to get rid of my old laptop. Yet this new one will be another laptop with;

CPU: 6th Gen Skylake Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ
RAM: 16GB (2×8GB) DDR4L 1.2V 2133MHz
Space: 240GB SSD + 1TB 7200RPM
Screen: 17.3" Full HD 1920×1080 G-SYNC IPS Mat LED Screen
GPU: 6GB GDDR5 nVIDIA® GeForce® GTX1060 192-Bit DX12
Others: 4 Disk(2x M.2 SATA RAID 0/1 Ops. + 2x HDD & SSD RAID 0/1 Ops.)
Cooling Support: Turbo Fan and 3 Fan

Not going to happen. I have a desktop with an i7 6700k, GTX 1080 with 16GB of 2400 and the game on a good SSD and I still get dips below 60fps in places on Ultra settings. Granted I’m running it at 1440p but in certain areas there are just going to be dips.

Even at 1080P there’s no computer out there that can run this game at 60FPS on ultra everywhere. That will handle the game respectably, but in some of the new maps and in zerg situations you will probably have to knock down the settings to keep the framerate high, and that can only help so much

Personally I’m also at 1440P and see some dips, but it’s generally pretty manageable. Your monitor will have adaptive sync, which helps a ton when the framerate drops

i have an i5 6600k and a 1080gtx asus oc edition strix and it dips below 60fps in places like LA. but in others its a bit more consistent.
