Hello!

It doesn’t matter if I put all my settings on Low, or all settings on High, I still have the same FPS. For example inside Lion’s Arch, 24 fps with either setting profiles.

Why is this?

I have nvidia gtx 560 oc @ 925 Mhz and I doubt this issue have to do something with my gfx card. It feels like I should be able to play, but some setting somewhere is stopping me..

Please help!

Make sure your GPU is linked in PCI-E at 16x or 8×. I have seen this behavior when the PCI-E Link is at 4x and 1×.

Because the game isn’t as limited by your GPU as it is by your CPU, especially around crowds of other players such as in LA.

What CPU are you using?

I have intel i5 2500k @ 4.3 Ghz

It’s normal, I even hit 15-17 FPS on T1 3 ways blobs on 4.2ghz 2500k + R9 280×.

You’ll only see the difference mostly inside dungeons and solo/small scale WvW. The game engine takes a heavy toll on CPU’s when there are alot of players around.

Biggest difference in FPS with regards to this is setting Character Model Quality to lowest.

Holy mother of Jesus christ himself! I’ve been playing for 2 years on PCI-E x4 Speed with a x16 Ready card…. I changed slot on Mobo. Thank you SO much man! This totally fixed the lagg on EVERY game on my pc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<333
