So just curious how this could have happened but some random player in game sent me a party invite and then a whisper that called me by my real name and told me to click the green check. I asked who it was but they wouldn’t reply. I asked multiple times before saying if you do not answer me I will report you for scamming. Then immediately after the person replied " its kkc la" ??? I have no idea how this person knows my name. After people started getting hacked I created a whole new email account specifically for this game and nothing else. So I am lost at how they got my information. The only thing I did recently that has my name on it would be submitted a support ticket.. Also even though I have blocked this person they keep spamming me with party invites.. The account it is coming from is “isfuturo.9032”

You sure its not some random friend from school or something thats just being an idiot and not telling you their name? There’s no way to scam you just by joining your party, if you care to really find out who it is just play along if not leave em blocked.

No it isn’t anyone I know, I’m positive.

Kind of an odd event. I’d think they only got your name from attempts at hacking your account or email in some form. No idea about the whole party invite thing.

And if it were from your ticket, I’d think a GM would have better grammar than that in any case.

Yes I reported them. Was sort of curious if anyone else has had this happen to them.

I’m at a loss what to say then, as well as others lol. There’s no scam in inviting you repeatedly, just harassment. If he wanted to give you a link to a website or advertise like the other hackers, he could’ve done it through mail or whispers, as many have done that to me that way and have been reported.

Probably just a nutcase that’s lonely and wanted a friend. xD

But how might this nutcase have access to my real name?? That is why I’m at a loss I still think this was someone who had intentions to hack my account.

No idea, Anet should investigate it I agree. That one fact makes it sketchy.
