The email that this got sent to is not the one i registered Guild Wars 2 with… I use another email for GW2…
Still… Should i be worried? I’m not stupid and i’m not clicking any links from this stuff, but still, i wonder how they (whoever this is) got my email…
It’s currently in my spam folder, but i wonder, is this random or does someone know i play GW2 and how? I don’t get any other spam for countless MMO’s that i don’t play, yet i get this…
It is phishing. Please don’t post links to phishing emails. So please edit those out. Someone might click them and get phished.
Anet does not send emails about account termination. If you didn’t follow the links you are probably fine. You may want to run a virus scan for key loggers and such. You may also want to make sure your email account is secure. If you are worried beyond that change your GW2 password.
So, as long as i don’t click on this i’m good?
I enabled account verification each time i play, so that’s an added extra. It doesn’t work as it should, but i will get an email if someone tries to log in to my account besides me…
