Guild Wars 2

This post is for a response from a mod. Last night some of my guild mates and i were
waiting for the Jormag fight to begin. While waiting we decided to go a little north into
the troll area and kill a few mobs and get some materials we needed for crafting. Not being in that area for more than 10 min they were all perma banned! No tells were given to see if they were botts, no emails or any warnings at all.

Well here comes my issue following that craziness. There is heart quests in that area they got perma banned in..
How am i suppost to feel safe trying to do 100 % completion if i run the risk of getting banned myself just being in that area.

Again i am not qqing here, i just need a Mod to address this issue for me, because i am now scarred beyond belief to now finish questing from fear i will be perma banned without any kind of warning.

They are either lying and they did somethign else, or they caught caught up in a ban sweep when a GM was there banning bots.

There seems to be an issue with the system right now where people are being banned when they are in the same area as bots.

Your friends ( not you) need to make a post in the stickied thread. Arenanet wont discuss account actions with people that arent the owners of the account.

Don’t be scared just do it.

Ok but this did not help the issue of not getting banned if doing heart quests, or 100% completing the map.

that is crazy for a net to do a random area sweap like that we run together iwvw and there all stand up guys

The issue i was trying to make known or to have help understanding is, if i am questing in these so called Bot hotspots areas, ie.. Frostgorge, Ore, Human areas for heart quests/ or gathering mats for crafting,
plus:
if i have a couple guild mates with me for help on the heart quests, how do i have any guarantee i will not be perma banned!

As of right now i know i am not the only person who feels unsafe to play the game as is intended.

Having guildies with you won’t stop them from banning…I was banned and I had 2 others with me. Thankfully they didn’t get banned but as you can see it won’t guarantee anything.
