Since the patch on 11-7-2013 I can’t play GW2. I can just log in, and the game loads. When the “game screen” pops up, it disappears in one second. Then it says “A serious error has occurred…”.

I personally have no idea, so I would toss ArenaNet a support ticket and see what they have to say about the problem.
