Yesterday, I tried transferring my account to another realm (from ring of fire to Blacktide if that matters at all) along with a few friends of mine.

After the client closed and ever since, every attempt to start it again ends up with it freezing and going going un-responsive within a few seconds, making login impossible and forcing me to end the process from my task manager. I had been playing the game perfectly normal for more than a week, so I restarted my modem and PC, which made no difference at all. Then I submitted a support ticket the code of which I mention at the end of my post.
I was asked to run NCSoft’s Game Advisor and upload the generated diagnostic my ticket’s entry at help.ncsoft.com . Imagine my joy when I realized that after playing the original Guild Wars 1 for year and successfully linking my account to GW2, I had no NCSoft Account for that site, which your support team’s structure seemed to take for granted. So I emailed a reply with the diagnostics(which stated my ticket in the title) and still haven’t received an answer as of now.
Moreover, this morning I decided to un-install GW2 completely and re-install. It was very nice to find out that even after a full installation my client freezes just like before.

So far I have been very disappointed from the technical aspect of game. Account integration has been a headache for owner’s of GW1 accounts, especially with the addition of NCSoft master accounts since the time of the first game, the Hall of Monuments is not even working for many of them (including me) and the official forums only became operational a few days ago. In overall, it’s not the great feeling I was given when playing the first game, where everything seemed to work much smoother and with less effort from everyone.

Same for me. Log in, try playing charector, goes unresponsive. Task manager out of it, then try again. Doesn’t matter which charector. Played normal last night till I logged off at 10. Now will not let me in, simply freezes.
