I just spent two hours finding a group and suffering through the very poorly designed Arah story mode, then got disconnected like everyone else. Now I’m back at “Victory or Death” and need to do it all over again. I have none of the loot I got during the run, and my friend and I are majorly kittened off. I don’t want to put myself through this awful dungeon again. Is there anything Anet can do about this?

Arah story mode is pretty fun imo.

There were some technical problems with the server it seemed, sadly tho they should have something that saves your dungeon progress for a period, so that if something like this happens, you’re not completely screwed over.
Imo send a ticket for your loot, regardless of it’s content.

Game still needs lots of tweaks and fixes :x

Lost my ring after HELLISH fract run that lasted 3 hours… finally get my ascended ring and BAM server crashes and i lose all of it… what a waste of a night

Same issue, Arah path 2. I’ve finished this path twice, only to lose a completion to a glitch. This time, the group finished, I had my rewards, only to exit the dungeon, get disconnected, and reconnect to a rollback – and no rewards. Last time, we got to the final boss and she wouldn’t engage. Six hours wasted…

Yeah the last rollback I remember wasn’t too bad. But this one was a serious waste of a lot of time for me. I lost to much stuff that I spent many weeks trying to get to even want to play anymore.

Got a response from support:

“Thank you for your patience while we investigated this matter. We regret the situation that you wrote about and would like to give you a few details: There was a brief outage with the login server that affected a few of our other servers. As a result, some players may have experienced a minor loss of some character progression. The dev team has taken a look at the issue, and they confirm that the conditions that caused this situation were very rare and that they do not anticipate that such a thing will happen again. They also confirm that due to the nature of the outage, we will be unable to restore any progression or items lost as a result of the issue. I am very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.”

tldf: Server issues messed up some people’s progression and no, nothing will be done about it

I got lucky. My client crashed right after i completed fractal 29.
