Guild Wars 2

I just switched servers and all of my guild stuff is gone, including items and gold in the vault/stash as well as all upgrades. All I want is my stuff in the storage. Why is it that a guild is not account bound but server bound? Is there anyway I can get my stuff back?

The guild banks are not account bound because people, including the founder of the bank, can leave the guild. Since they can leave the guild and therefore the bank, it can’t be tied to one account. Also, it can’t be tied to one account because more then one account, all the accounts in the guild, can access it.

As to how to get stuff back, there are only two ways. One is to transfer back. The second is to give someone you trust access to the guild bank. They can then take your items out and email them to you.
