Severe Lag, suspected packet loss
they told me the same thing, but i play on a laptop and experienced the same lag on 3 different ISP’s. if you go through the forums you will see lots of people reporting lag, Anet has not commented on the subject so i believe the problem is with them and they are ignoring it. most of the issues started 2 weeks ago.

There is something going on with Anet’s servers. Run the built-in diagnostics function (Gw2.exe -diag) and check out the “Checking server connectivity” and “Tracing network paths” sections in the NetworkDiag.log text file that is generated, you will see some errors there.
