Guild Wars 2

Hi all, I recently bought some new pc upgrades and laos bought gw2, however I feel like I’m not getting the fps I should be.

Intel core i5 3450 3.1 ghz
Msi nvidia 660 ti power edition

With everything on high the fps will fluctuate, 40 – 70, now thats not bad, but turning the camera causes a brief drop. I feel like the fps is just fluctuating too often, causing a little stutter. I run battlefield 3 on ultra settings at a constant 60 fps, so just curious as to why Im not getting better performance out of gw2. Thanks.

Everyone gets lower fps then other games the optimization is not up to par atm.

Turn reflections to terrain and sky and shadows to high it helps alot with the camera issue.

Also dispite ur upgrades and ur nice Graphics card. Your CPU will strigle with GW2 in some areas. One of them being the camera turn fps drop. With a faster CPU the drop is less noticble ..its still there though. Also once u head into WvW, with big fights, u will have <30 fps no matter what graphics setitngsu use.

The frame rates u posted are normal bassicaly ..adn what i just said is what u can expect.
