Im using iMac 2009 Late
in Mac client, about PvE and PvP are satisfied so so.
but WvW… playing almost impossible.
I looked at forum and noticed that using bootcamp, performance will improve.
Then, I want you to tell your opinion.
Should I use bootcamp to also play WvW?
If those who are using bootcamp in the same environment, please give me an opinion by all means.

Yeah you should be able to. I find mac’s run windows better than pc’s do but I am completely building my first system on thursday so, take it for what you will. whats the proccessor? Ive been out of the mac loop for a while, well since 2008

I have a Mid-2010 iMac and I can say without a doubt that GW2 runs much better on my windows boot, and I do a good amount of wvw. To me the mac client is unplayable even for pve.

It depends on if you want to play with best performance. If you want best performance, bootcamp will always be the better choice as the mac client is not a native port (it is just using a fork of wine for Macs). If you do not mind lowering your performance, then go ahead and run it in Mac OS X. Mine is mid-2009 and I plain cannot run it in Mac OS X and can only run it in Windows on lowest settings so…
I get the same FPS on Mac and Windows, but the settings are very different. Windows is basically max at 1920×1200 while Mac is at medium at 1680×1050. It’s a different experience.
Hi, I tried instantly bootcamp.
I was very surprised!
Performance improved absurdly.
Even if it changes a setup into midium from low and I can move smoothly where place much people.
It does not seem to be the same PC XD
and now, I can play WvW.
