Guild Wars 2

I’ve been having serious skill lag. Some skills take 5+ seconds to go off after me pressing the button. My computer is a beast, no changes in my internet or drivers or anything, this happened suddenly.

I’m getting the same in both WvW and PvE.

I thought it was just my warrior at first, but it’s all classes, including my thief

I would say this problem should be a high priority fix.

There is no such thing as skill lag… It’s just our ISPs…

Having the same issue, specials just wont fire. Its most notable in WvW with ground targeting skills, like barrage from ranger or any ground targeting skill from the elementalist.

In PVE i didnt noticed it yet.

It’s not just skill lag – it’s also lagging trying to switch target… or even get your ‘1’ skill to fire !
Server FS, any BL this evening – time to log out and come back as Midnight I think.

…erm and NO Anet – it’s NOT my ISP or my PC the issue is at your Server/code end !

I disconnect multiple times throughout the day, rubberband, all my skills are on a delay.. Nothing works. I’d rather be killed by a zerg culling than not be able to play. And it’s not my ISP; I have 20 mbs download speed which should be enough for the game.

Fix this lag already FIX IT… sick of it, this aint on my end everything else on my net is lightning fast, everything else I play is fine, I jump into wvw here and get skill lag and huge lag spikes still and even dc, seriously!..

I have the same problem, but mine is a bit weird, ever since the last patch once i load into a map its fine, but then 10/15 mins later the game starts lagging uncontrollably until i switch maps again. I play on a laptop so I am able to move between connections and I have tried multiple connections with different speeds and such and it is the same across the board. My ping in TS is fine while gw2 is lagging uncontrollably which leads me to believe it’s client side.

trying to play PvE, everytime i get into the game i can’t cast any skills pressing all the skills at once just flashys constantly, after 1min i get disconnected. and NO it is not my pc or my internet as i can run other games just fine.

same issue here,
when i finally can enter wvw at some point i get huge lag spikes (still i see others moves smoothly and attacking me) where i cant use any skills, after like 10-20 secs
i just die slowly from ppl attacking me (and i cant see anyone around, but i can read combat log in real time). then i have to manually restart game otherwise it wont stuck.

Hmmm I just got a post deleted for an infraction though im not sure it was that abusive, lets see if I can tone it down alittle, please fix the server lag not being able to play parts of the game on and off for so many months has made alote of people very angry, wvw again was unplayable for me… again…

You know how when you have chronic knee or back pain, after a while you don’t notice it as much because you are so used to it.

Well Arenanet, that ain’t gonna happen here ~ fix pls
