I have been getting terrible skill delay(3 seconds or so) for about 8 months and in this time i have bought a new computer but the lag didn’t stop. Also recently my game disconnects every 10 minutes or so (goes back to character selection).
Well – 2 million angry nerds spamming the login( to New zone) is essentially an organized DDoS..
so give it a little time and tri it other time when there’s less people >_>
Well, a drake just killed me while it was still at full health. Apparently drakes have this new skill that makes you lag so you can’t use any skills.

Those are costumers, and that problem should have been easily foreseeable when planning to implement new content to a game. I find it hard to believe that they would create new content and items for purchase and not expect people to check them out.
From what people are saying this is a DDoS attack, and may have nothing to do with the players OR Anet.
The forum is most likely slow due to everyone looking up the game server problems. It’s most likely not related in any way. But there are definitely some problems with the game today.
Having same problem for a while now. It’s not just dry top its everywhere. I’m really sick of it because i can never play this game when i’m in the mood to play it.

Definatley some issue last night around 10PM. Runing fine until about 10PM CDT (per above times), then unplayable lag (and I usually NEVER have issues like that). My first thought was a possible DoS attack on GW2 servers…..so I quit and went to bed….all good this morning.
Those with long standing skill lag issues should understand this particular report does not have anything to do with your continuing issues…other than they ARE likely some internet connection issue to the GW2 servers.

I was just in Dry Top and everything was great. Moved to Frostgorge (logged in a character there) and all sorts of skill lag problems. I couldn’t get the /ip.
Trying to get back in now. Taking a long time to get through authentication on the launcher. Tried to bring that same FG character in and it just hung.
Seems like the whole thing is going super slow right now. Clicking ‘Play’ on any character just sits there awhile.
3.10pm about 30 players on the screen and I lag out then dc. Is this normal or is something wrong with me? Also since i have been getting this for 8 months are there any fixes for earlier issues like mine
