Q:
Hi everyone, I decided to upgrade my tv/monitor to 4k and all the UI interface is extremely small
I went to options and set the UI to “Largest” but I cant expand the map and or other windows to make it more comfortable.
Any Recommendations?

Sorry for the duplicate, ANET should address this soon, since more and more clients will move to 4k as time passes by.
I know the search system is terrible on these forums so it’s easy not to even bother looking.
Problem is if you go to that post you see I linked nearly a dozen other threads, some going back a few years.
The issue is it’s a lot of work to do it right. It’s another entire set of icons for all skills, all items, as well as the UI panels, all of which is pixel art. So IMO, soon isn’t coming Soon™.

If by “time” you mean years and years, when CPUs are strong enough to keep up decent FPS in 4k. Then yes, more people will.
At the moment, a large majority of the player base can’t keep “Decent” fps with decent settings at 1080p.

Well, I don’t have a top tier PC, and I run the game in 4k (every setting in Ultra or High) in 50+ FPS in PvE, and a min of 35 FPS in WvW (in PvP it stayed in the strong 40+ FPS)… It actually has work extremely well, soooo yeah. I’m not a content creator, but I can make a video showing how well it runs if you need.
