After todays patch my GW2 started to lag A LOT (not fps lag) i tought it might be my internet connection but the thing is… i lag only almost every where, WvW, spvp, and 70% of PvE maps. Some maps like FGS i have no lag at all the game runs perfectly.

So i was wondering can this be some side server issue or is it something related to me?

Thanks for the attention.

Please fix your game and test it. It’ll be worth waiting an extra week or two instead of ruining a night or week or month with things that get broken or supposedly fixed.

It’s monsterously laggy, fix it please. it’s not our internet, it is your server/game.

Anet doesn’t care about our lag problems, just ask them and see what they say?

Yep that’s right they say nothing!

The lag is really inconsistent by means of during various times of the day. The reason why I’m on here typing out this is because I died over and over again due to rubber-banding lagging in WVW and it’s seriously NOT fun. I’m not referring to FPS related issue, it’s simply bad ping to YOUR server. Skill lag is what I’m describing here.

I have never experienced this game lag this bad before I took a long break before Jan this year and I played GW2 since the headstart in august! I can say I had near flawless experience with the quality of internet connection to the server (NA) during WvW, Spvp, PvE. What I don’t understand is why this game is going backwards in terms of quality assurance in server stability, consistency and sustainability…I understand they fixed the culling issue which is GREAT and was a major issue in WvW but introduced another issue which really hurt the overall gaming experience.

Anet, if you’re reading this, PLEASE fix this issue ASAP.

Same here.. I’ve never had any issues FPS /or/ latency wise until recently.. now I get DC’d constantly. It’s almost impossible for me to complete new content now because I get DC’d at BEST once ever hour (worst every ten minutes or less). It’s really frustrating. And it doesn’t matter if I’m in PvE, WvW or PvP. It’s the same issue.
Sometimes I’ll just get HUGE lag spikes or the like. These will take a couple minutes to resolve and when they do, my character is usually dead somewhere if I was out in the world.
I just want to be able to play normally again. :c

I’ve been having insane skill lag for a week now on Aurora Glade, or any EU overflows. Tried Teq last night and was hit with over a minute of skill delay!

I have run every single test known to me to verify if it’s something from my side and it definitely isn’t. Many of my guild mates have the same issue.

Please can we get someone to look into this? I can’t even run a dungeon anymore it’s so bad.

It seems that with every patch, more and more people are getting effected by this. It doesn’t make sense that I have to wait till 11-12pm every night to play with a reasonable ping when I’ve been playing this game for a year under perfect conditions up until last week. Even then, WvW is unplayable with a melee class.

I still don’t understand why we lack a PTS. These sorts of issues, amongst others, would more than likely never make it live if they had a larger group of testers. Rift did it and it worked pretty darn well.
