Hello.

Im experiencing some fps problems with the auto detect grapich settings (I have also tryed to lower the grapichs, but dont seem to work that well. Im quite sad, becouse my pc should do so much better.

My spec:

Mainboard: MSI X79A-GD45 PLUS, Socket-2011
CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20GHZ (6 cores)
Graphics: GeForce GTX 780
Memory: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 2400MHz 16GB
Harddrives: x1 OCZ SSD Agility 3 Series 2.5" 120GB 20nm
x2 Seagate Barracuda® 3TB

Anyone can help a frustrated guy with some fps problems? :P
Any tips on grapich settings i can use? Without killing the wonderful world of tyria with bad grapichs!

I’m also getting the same problem.

From what I’ve read in the internet, I don’t think it’s your PC that’s the problem but the game itself. It lacks great optimization.

oh, that explains it. My PC should be running GW2 quite good

These settings I have to use in the new Crown Pavilion zone to have any chance of decent play. Specifically LOD distance, Reflections, Shadows and finally the new ‘Effect LOD’ checked.
However, outside of this new zone I can raise Shadows to high and LOD to Ultra I would keep reflections the same and I would disregard the Effect LOD.

Have you ever tried overclocking your CPU to at least 4.2- 4.5 Ghz to see if that helps ?

problem since last patch, happens to ALOT ppl

I actually had the same issue; its been that way for the past few days, i found uninstalling and then reinstalling my graphics card drivers worked; actually to say it worked is an understatement, my FPS is better now than it was before.

If its any consolation, I’m on a Laptop, so things might just get alot better than they were before for you.
